Hyundai Finance Tips: Tax Benefits of Trading in Your Car

If you’re ready for an upgrade on your used Hyundai car, it might be a good idea to consider a trade-in at Sansone Hyundai. Trade-ins help take the old car off your hands and get you a newer model at a reduced price. They can also offer some useful tax benefits in the state of New Jersey. Here’s why trade-ins are a great Hyundai finance option. more Trade-Ins Help You Get a New Car For Less Let’s say you have an older Hyundai vehicle and you’ve decided you’re ready for a new one. A trade-in might be for you! You can bring your old car to Sansone Hyundai, and we’ll take it off your hands in exchange for a new vehicle of your choosing. Rather than paying for the full value of the new car, you’ll get to subtract the cost of your old car. So if you have an old Hyundai car that you’re ready to part with, a trade-in is a great option. Trade-Ins Help Reduce Sales Tax In the state of New Jersey, a trade-in can also reduce the amount of sales tax you owe. New Jersey collects a 6.625-percent sales tax on all cars sold within the state, plus any local sales taxes. This may not seem like a lot, but when it comes to newer cars, it can add up to a hefty final cost. However, if you choose to trade in your car, the sales tax will be calculated based on the reduced price rather than the original full price, so you’ll get to lower both the retail price and the cost of the sales tax. At the end of the day, you get the full value of a new car for a much lower cost. Trade in Your Used Hyundai Car at Sansone Hyundai If you’re looking to trade in your used Hyundai car, visit Sansone Hyundai today. Once we’ve taken your used vehicle off your hands, you’ll have access to our full inventory of new Hyundai cars without breaking your budget. Make sure to stop by our finance center for more options. We can’t wait to see you behind the wheel of your dream car!

Brakes

3 Signs Your Car Needs Brake Repair

Brakes are an essential part of your car's performance, and any issues can have serious consequences. Our service center uses genuine Hyundai parts designed to fit your vehicle, so if you notice any of these issues, it's time to schedule brake repairs. more 1.      Vibration While Braking If your Hyundai car seems to be shaking or vibrating while the brakes are engaged, it's a sign you may need brake repair. Feedback in your steering wheel can indicate problems with your brake rotor, which engages with the brake pads to slow your wheels. An uneven surface on your brake rotor leads to more friction and less efficient braking, and coming in for service can prevent rust and long-term damage to the brake system. 2.      Unusual Sounds Any strange noise while driving is worth investigating, but if the sound happens while you're braking, it may indicate more serious problems with your brakes. Squealing noises mean your brake pads have worn down and need replacement, while a grinding noise can be due to a number of problems. Unusual noises usually signal direct contact between two parts, which should be addressed before they cause serious wear. 3.      Lack of Response Poor performance and a lack of responsiveness may be signs of problems with your brakes. If your Hyundai car regularly pulls to one side during braking or if your brake pedal feels soft and unresponsive, there's something wrong with the distribution of braking power. These performance issues can make your vehicle dangerous to drive and cause serious accidents, so if you notice them, have them checked out immediately. Any issue with your brakes can have serious consequences. Bring your vehicle down to Sansone Hyundai and have our expert Hyundai service team perform a full checkup today!

Hyundai Tucson Hybrid

Fuel-Efficient Features of the 2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid

Hybrid powertrains offer the power and range of traditional gasoline engines with the fuel-saving economy of electric motors. The 2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid is a great choice for anyone looking for a more fuel-efficient vehicle. more Hybrid Powertrain The 2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine and an electric motor which produce a combined 226 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. There's no electric plug here—the electric batteries are recharged by the gasoline engine and regenerative braking, making it even easier to stay fully charged. Four driving modes give you full control over whether you're using both motors, only the gasoline motor, or only the electric motor for even more fuel economy. Regenerative Braking Traditional brake pads can't recapture energy lost in slowing down, but the 2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid uses regenerative braking to recapture this energy and power your battery. This extends your battery's range, giving you even more ability to drive in fully electric or hybrid modes and reducing the gasoline engine's use. An added bonus: using regenerative brake pads reduces wear on traditional brake pads, so they need to be replaced less often. The 2023 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid features a powerful hybrid powertrain that allows you to switch between gasoline, battery, and hybrid modes and advanced regenerative braking to recharge your battery while you drive. Come test-drive one at Sansone Hyundai, your local Woodbridge Hyundai dealership, and experience this highly efficient hybrid for yourself!

Jump Starting a Car

Hyundai Service Tips: How to Jump-Start Your Car

If you’ve ever had a dead battery, you probably remember how frustrating it was when your car wouldn't start. Although regular Hyundai service can prevent situations like this from happening, knowing how to jump-start your battery can be useful. Take a look at these steps to help you jump-start your car. more 1. Find Another Vehicle Once you’ve attempted to turn on your engine a few times, you’ll want to call someone available to meet you where you’re parked. Before you arrange for them to meet you, you’ll want to make sure one of you has a set of jumper cables, as you’ll need them to jump-start the battery. 2. Make Sure the Cars are Facing Each Other Once you find someone to meet you, ensure they park nose-to-nose with your vehicle. Then, turn off each engine, set each car to park, pop the hoods, and ensure the emergency brakes are on before moving to the next step. 3. Connect the Cables Once you have both vehicles set up, you’ll want to connect one end of the red cable to the dead battery’s positive terminal and the other end to the working car’s positive terminal. Next, you’ll want to clamp the end of the black cable to the working battery’s negative terminal and the other end to an unpainted metal surface on the dead vehicle, like a bolt. Start Your Engine After all the cables are correctly connected, go to the working car and turn on the ignition. Let the car run before testing the engine on the dead car. If it doesn’t start after a few times, don’t attempt to try more than four times in a row, as this could flood the engine and cause damage.
