Three Hyundai Models Named “Top Commuter Cars”

As Hyundai dealers near Woodbridge, we recognize that different customers have different lifestyles and needs when it comes to their everyday vehicle. If you’re someone who drives a long commute, or is otherwise concerned with efficiency, you’ll be excited to learn about the three Hyundai models that were recently named “Top Commuter Cars” by CarGurus.

All under $35,000, the Hyundai Ioniq, Hyundai Elantra Eco, and Hyundai Sonata Hybrid were all named on the top commuter cars list. The study considers elements like commuting efficiency, mileage variation, hilliness, and weather of 84 metro regions and matches them with cars that excel. Horsepower, efficiency, comfort, and alternative fuel options are large factors.

The Hyundai Elantra Eco was named the top commuter car in 13 cities, with the Hyundai Ioniq was top in three, and the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid was a top car in New Orleans, specifically.

“For those who regularly drive to and from work, commuting conditions should absolutely be a consideration when car shopping – they can make the difference between regret and enjoyment,” says Matt Smith, senior editor at CarGurus. “The Elantra Eco, Ioniq, and Sonata Hybrid all offer excellent fuel economy, quiet rides, and comfortable interiors, making them excellent commuting options.”

The study involved a lot of calculations like average commute distance in those metro areas. The choice ultimately come down to the editorial team’s discretion for each group. And we couldn’t be more proud that these three models of ours did so well.
