According to the Hyundai USA verified Twitter account, which you can follow to stay up to date on current Hyundai news, production for this model began on June 1, 2018 at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing location in Alabama, and it is currently in full steam. The manufacturer plans to produce more than 84,000 units of this model at that particular plant before the end of the year.
