Winter weather can be rough on your vehicle, especially if it’s not garage kept. Not to worry, with warmer weather on the way (hopefully soon), Sansone Hyundai has the checklist you need to ensure your Hyundai vehicle is ready for all your spring adventures.

  1. Clean the interior. The best kind of car is a clean car, and it’s so easy to vacuum up that winter debris off the floors and clean the windows so you have better visibility while driving.
  2. Clean the exterior. We recommend thoroughly washing the exterior of your vehicle, with special attention to underneath. That’s where salt, cinders, and dirt are likely to build up during the winter, and if not taken care of, can cause damage to the paint and maybe even the body with rust down the road.
  3. Conduct routine maintenance with our Hyundai service center. Oil changes should take place at least two to three times a year. After “pothole season,” you’re probably also going to want a tire rotation and alignment check to make sure everything is good to go. It also does hurt to have your AC and battery tested because you know you’ll want to use those in the heat.
  4. Take care of necessary repairs or part replacements. It can be easy to procrastinate when life gets busy after the first of the year. However, once you get your tax return funds, giving your vehicle that much-needed TLC will pay off.

If you choose us to be your Avenel, NJ Hyundai dealership, we have no doubts your vehicle will retain its value and continue to work efficiently for a long time to come. Contact us today to learn more!
