2019 Hyundai Elantra Gets a Makeover

As your NJ Hyundai dealers, we love talking about the various vehicles we have to offer, especially when a fresh model year produces upgrades that we know our customers will love. If you’re in the market for a car, get ready—the 2019 Hyundai Elantra is sure to be a stunner!

This compact sedan underwent great style changes to give it a fresh, modern look for 2019. A new front fascia will include more defined lines and sharper corners, along with triangular headlights and fog lights. Two new creases on the hood, as well as proportional changes to the headlights and grille positioning, give this model a striking appearance.

The rear of the car is updated, too, with illuminated parts and new license plate housing with large “Elantra” lettering across the lid. Additional changes you can expect include a new camera-base forward collision prevention, lane-keeping assist, and driver attention alert for the SEL trim and up. The powertrain options remain the same for the 2019 model year.

The base SE model of the new Hyundai Elantra comes with a manual transmission for those looking for that organic driving experience, but it sees updates with steering wheel-mounted controls and Bluetooth®. It also boasts a five-inch touchscreen and rear-view camera with dynamic guidelines. The top Limited trim receives an eight-speaker sound system with subwoofer, Qi-compatible wireless phone charging, and Safe Exit Assist to warn drivers of approaching cars when the door is open.
